Swan Wash - Changemaker High School

Walking to Changemaker High School one day in 2015, Alejandra Lopez-Ortega fell in the flooded Swan Wash. What started as this Changemaker’s service project to build a bridge over the wash eventually led to a bigger vision to address flooding and improve wash conditions. This is what Tucson C2E is all about. Helping fund community action that enhances local washes, reduces flooding, and creates more wildlife habitat.
